EPCglobal standards provide immediate, automatic identification of any item in the supply chain of any company, in any industry, anywhere in the world to ensure safer products, provide fresher produce, decrease counterfeiting, increase availability of products, and reduce theft. Our role is to facilitate adoption and support of EPCglobal standards. EPCglobal fosters technical standards development through Action Groups, composed of end-users and solution providers working together to advance RFID technologies and ensure the needs of the community are met.
